We met almost three years ago after a cervical herniated disc ruined my long-awaited summer vacation.
I came to you with a lot of anxiety, and admittedly, also with some fear regarding my condition and fate; but you were wonderfully understanding and immediately understood my state of mind, managing to calm me down with the serenity that characterizes you. Your quiet confidence and professional approach are rare qualities, indeed. You have found your true vocation, with a sensitivity and sense of humanity that come from the heart.
Your explanations are simple and direct as you outline a patient’s options, but you do this with a self-assurance that instills confidence in those on the other side of the desk.
I still have oxygen-ozone therapy periodically and I feel really good; the pain is gone.

Dearest Christian, my highly esteemed doctor: Your preparation is beyond reproach. Your professionalism is flawless. Despite the difficulties, stress, frustration and dedication required in your work, you have always remembered that you are a human being, that you have a life, a family, and other interests. In the misfortune of having seriously compromised my back, I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Christian Capuano; and if I am taking my life back into my hands, I owe it exclusively to him.
Although I was only 38 years old, I could no longer even perform normal daily activities and I would certainly have soon lost my job, because I could no longer bear the pain caused by my back problems.
From a surgical point of view, the operation was perfect and minimally invasive, with almost perfect sutures, however, it is the human side that most distinguishes Dr. Capuano. My family and I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for me.

For me, you are a kind of angel dressed up as a doctor… a neurosurgeon with a heart as immense as your medical skills.
Years ago he put me back on my feet after years of useless therapies and a lot of seeking help… My doctor recommended Christian to me, so I entrusted my care to him – and when I thought I would never be able to move again, he returned me to life… A few days ago he did the same thing with my mom, with the same immense humanity, humility and unique abilities that cannot be found anywhere else.
Thanks Christian, for what you do and above all for what you are… every day you bring people who are convinced they have no possibility of healing back to life again.
After two years of suffering, I finally met a super-fantastic neurosurgeon – Cristian Capuano, who in the end operated on me… I will never be able to stop thanking you for everything you have done for me! I ended up at Dr. Capuano’s office after a lot of seeking help… I had done everything, received different diagnoses, had various treatments including physiotherapy, and had had doctors’ visits everywhere, but the pain had not lessened; on the contrary, it had got worse. I had already heard about Dr. capuano from a few people, and all of them spoke very well of him.
So, at the first appointment I decided that he would be the ‘horse to bet on’. I was operated on, after some dates were missed due to Covid, on 21 December in Vicenza. I was discharged on December 23. For me this was the best Christmas present ever.
Thank you Christian, for your always being available, your presence, humanity and competence. I’ve never felt alone, you’ve always been there. You treat every patient with the utmost care. You are plain-speaking, truthful and practical.

I went to Dr. Capuano, upon another doctor’s recommendation, for my neck problems. After receiving some oxygen-ozone therapy sessions, the doctor put me on the list for anterior cervical arthrodesis surgery because my condition was quite serious; I was operated on 14 October, and I feel fine now thanks to the doctor’s attentive and serious approach; also, he always put me at ease during my appointments. I also want to thank Marinella for her kindness, and her help with setting up appointments.

On the advice of my GP, who had already sent patients to Doctor Capuano with excellent results, I turned to Doctor Capuano after seven months of suffering with my condition: stenosis of the foramen of the sciatic nerve and a herniated intervertebral disc.
I had already tried several other therapies: iontophoresis, cortisone, anti-inflammatories, etc., basically everything that could be done without invasive surgery, unfortunately without great results.
Finally, a month ago I was operated on by Dr. Capuano and now I can finally walk without feeling pain with every step. And so, I can only thank him very much. I am pleased with his work and also with his approach to his patients; in his initial interviews, he asks about the course of the disease before and after the surgery, in order to have a complete view.
I would also like to take the opportunity to wish him very happy holidays.

I met Dr. Christian Capuano in April 2019 after a long period of doctor’s visits (rheumatological, orthopedic, physiotherapy, urological) and diagnostic tests. The pain, now disabling, was caused by severe L3-L4-L5 disc disease and L4-L5-S1 spondylolisthesis. I immediately appreciated Dr. Capuano’s openness and humanity, and a relationship of trust was immediately established between us. Initially, he proposed an analgesic course of treatment including oxygen-ozone therapy, while not excluding a future operation.
The benefits of ozone therapy were partial, and, as expected, in December 2019, Dr. Capuano put me on the waiting list for an operation. Due to the Covid emergency, my operation scheduled for March 2020 was cancelled. Finally, on October 28, of the same year, I entrusted myself to the “precious hands” of Dr. Christian and his team at the Ivrea Clinic for spine stabilization surgery.
The operation was more complex than expected, but the benefits were immediate. The day after the operation Christian tended to my scar and had me get up out of bed. Thanks, from the bottom of my heart, to Marinella, who was always smiling and patient, and to Dr. Christian who, in addition to the surgery, helped alleviate my then unbearable pain, in May of 2019, when I accompanied my daughter Giulia down the aisle to the altar.
I would like to thank Dr. Capuano again.
Exactly after a year of taking care of my back, getting me back on my feet and helping me return to a normal life, I entrusted my mother Laura’s back to his ‘golden’ hands. Without any hesitation, I advised her to undergo surgery for her condition of spinal stenosis, and the operation was perfectly successful.
Apart from the professionalism and skill of our Doctor, I can only exalt his human side as well – which has never failed: It was especially welcome in this dramatic moment, because of Covid restrictions I was unable to accompany my mother and be close to her, but the doctor never abandoned me. He stayed in close contact with me at every stage of the surgery. Both Dr. Capuano and Marinella were concerned about the situation and kept me posted at all times.

About a year ago, seeking help for serious back pain, I met Dr. Christian. I found him to be uncommonly kind, polite and very professional. In spite of being a surgeon, he did not recommend surgery immediately (I have L4-L5 anterolisthesis with other complications), but instead proposed a specific therapeutic path excluding surgery. Today, I have only to thank Prof. Capuano’s restraint, because I can now live with my problem as it is, and have had to give up practically nothing in my daily life.
Dr. Capuano was recommended to me by an acquaintance. I found him to be a very serious professional who was able to advise me about, and direct me to, the most suitable therapy. Oxygen-ozone therapy proved to be exceptional for solving my problem; I finally found a solution for the inflammation problems causing my neck pain.
I have been able to maintain the benefits obtained with oxygen-ozone therapy, with the help of Dr. Bocca, by doing the excellent exercises he taught me.
